Prescriptions

If you have regular medication for a condition that your doctor is aware of, you can periodically collect a repeat prescription from us without having to make an appointment. Repeat prescription requests can be made in the following ways:

  • Online - We use a secure website called SystmOnline which allows you to obtain your repeat prescriptions from your home. Please speak to us at reception to register your online access. You will need to bring a form of ID, such as a driving licence or utility bill. Please contact us if you need more information on what we accept.

If you've already registered for online access, click here to access SystmOnline and order a repeat prescription.

  • Post - You can send in the request for repeat medications to the practice by post. Please make sure that a self-addressed envelope is enclosed.

  • In person - You can drop your request for repeat medications into the practice or into your designated chemist in the Shepshed area.

Medicine Prescription

Please note that we are unable to take prescriptions over the telephone, as we are can't prove a patient's identity.

The majority of prescriptions now go electronically. If you haven’t got a designated chemist, you will be given a prescription token which you can take to any chemist that is convenient to you.

Please allow two working days before collection of your Prescription, to allow it to be checked and signed by your Doctor.
